Diggs will wait and see with the Bucks

The news of the resignation of Jim Tressel has made it all the way to the Sunshine State and to Cape Coral (Fla.) safety Jordan Diggs. The four star was high on the Buckeyes before the news reached him and now has a lot to digest after learning about the high profile departure.
"I just heard about it right now and was just talking to my mom about it," Diggs said. "It is shocking. Everyone would love to play for coach Tressel but now I just have to wait and see who the new coach is going to be before I make any decisions about O-State."
Diggs made the trip to Columbus to check out the Buckeyes for the spring game and left the Ohio State campus blown away. His feelings for Ohio State have not changed but the loss of Tressel has put an air of uncertainty into the situation when it comes to where Ohio State stands with things.
"I hope the new staff still feels the same way about me and will recruit me all the same," Diggs said. "Right now I am just in that holding pattern and want to see where things are going but I don't like Ohio State any less right now."
The hard-hitting safety had nothing but good things to say about Tressel and wishes him the best.
"He is very strong in faith and I really liked that with him," Diggs said. "I loved being able to talk to him about more than just football, he was very real. I will miss talking with him."
Diggs holds more than two dozen scholarship offers from programs all over the nation including ones from the ACC, Big Ten and SEC to name a few. The Buckeyes were poised to be in a fight under the best of circumstances to land Diggs but the odds may be a little tougher now for Luke Fickell and his staff.
"I have talked (before this happened) with Paul Haynes and Taver Johnson," Diggs said. "I really like O-State a bunch and everything about it. I am just kind of shocked right now with all o this."
