MEQUON - In arguably the top game of a very young 2011-'12 season, Germantown proved its No. 1 rank in the Division 1 field, and likely the state, was highly appropriate.

Led by senior guard Zak Showalter (18 points), who will walk-on next season at Wisconsin, and 6-foot-10 junior forward Luke Fischer (19 points), who has garnered serious interest from the Badgers, the Warhawks pulled away in the fourth quarter and notched a 74-60 win over Whitefish Bay Dominican Saturday evening in the NY2LA Sports Classic.
