Schwapp sees a whole new offense

Midway through fall camp's first week, Asaph Schwapp turned to offensive coordinator Mike Haywood to express a sort of athletic epiphany. For the sophomore fullback, play calls stopped just testing his memory. Schwapp starting seeing schemes, philosophies and game plans.
"We were putting in something (Thursday) dealing with a certain package and he said, 'You know coach, last year I knew what I was doing but I didn't understand why. Now I understand why,'" Haywood said. "Now he understands where his strengths are, where his weaknesses are and understands why he needs to do what he needs to do to be successful."
