Jordan has many options
When Duck Sports Authority last spoke with Chandler (Ariz.) standout Dion Jordan, the 6-foot-6, 215-pounder was in the middle of his track season and was holding steady at six written scholarship offers. Track season is over and the offer count has more than doubled. We caught up with Jordan again recently to see what's new.
Track season ended on a good note for Jordan.
"Everything was cool. We ended up second overall (as a team) and I took second in the 300 hurdles and sixth in the 110 (hurdles)," he said.
Given his times from earlier in the year, Jordan has the athletic ability to run the hurdles at the NCAA Division I level. He told us that's not in his plans, however.
"I'm strictly football in college," he said.
