Easley interested in Ducks
The top recruit coming out of the State of New York in 2010 could well be Staten Island defensive end Dominique Easley. With over a dozen BCS offers and counting, the Oregon Ducks joined the hunt with an offer in March.
Great size and speed has attracted numerous schools to offer Dominique Easley. While most of his attention started on the east coast, Midwest teams are expressing serious interest as well given his expressed desire to leave the State for college.
"I have written offers from Syracuse, Connecticut, Tennessee, Texas Tech, Michigan, Rutgers, and Penn State," said Easley. "I do not have a top five at this time. I will commit next year, or over the summer. Moving isn't a problem. I want to move. My parents are ok with that."
Academically, Easley is looking for schools that are strong in business and liberal arts.
"I will choose where I comfortably fit in," Easley said. "The education is important to me. The coaching staff should be there a long time. I plan on majoring in business with a minor in philosophy."
