Earlier this summer, Michigan had dropped out of four-star Detroit Cass Tech cornerback Dior Mathis’ top three after being named as a leader early in his recruitment. The Wolverines have stormed back, however, on the strength of two unofficial visits.

The 5-9, 175-pound Mathis’ most recent visit to Ann Arbor took place this past weekend. Along with his parents, high school coach and several teammates, Mathis was in attendance for Michigan’s 31-7 victory over Western Michigan.
