It's November. The cruel forced march through October is behind us. Lessons have been learned. It's been learned that effort and native talent alone aren't enough. The future still looks bright; the question is, when does the promise begin to pay off?
There was a glimmer for a bit against Cal. Then it showed through more in the second half on the last day of October, on Halloween. Now come the battles that will decide the 2009 season.
