Derrick Bryant strictly Bruin
UCLA pledge three-star defensive end Derrick Bryant (6-4, 230, 4.55) from Columbus (Ohio) Brookhaven took a visit to North Carolina and that put many Bruin fans into a very uneasy mood. Thankfully for the sake of Bruin fans, he's solidly back into the UCLA camp.
"Basically, I just wanted to be sure that I was making the right choice," Bryant said about his visit to the Chapel Hill campus. "I talked to my dad and we came up with giving another school a look and we had North Carolina there.
"North Carolina actually called me and decided to take a visit out there," Bryant said. "I went out there and I was talking to AO (Aramide Olaniyan) another UCLA commit, and said he was still going out there (to UCLA) and he said it was cool at North Carolina, but at the end of the day, he was still a Bruin. North Carolina is a very good school and they have very good coaches.
