Star WR Talks About Sooner Commitment
They say that becoming a quality student is all about building quality habits and with Trey Metoyer's decision out of the way it seems that he has developed the tools to prepare for the upcoming SATs. The 6-foot-2, 198-pound wide receiver says that one of the best things about his commitment to Oklahoma earlier today was the chance to focus squarely on school.
And it seems that those preparations will be those of a finely tuned student who has already done considerable homework on the numerous schools that pursued him.
"It does, you've got to do your homework. My dad and I broke everything down; you know see what the receivers were like and see who they had and what type of offense they run. What players were coming in, what players were going out, how many passes they throw, all that sort of stuff," Metoyer, of Whitehouse, Texas, said. "It makes me more comfortable knowing we did the homework.
"I feel great, it's a lot of pressure released and get all that stuff out of the way and now I can just concentrate on school."
