Peat's recruitment picking up steam
Anytime there is a recruit whose father is a former NFL player, the son is likely to know a few things about the game in addition to the physical traits he inherited. For Corona Del Sol High School's Todd Peat Jr. all of these things are true for him.
Not only is he already 6-foot-3 and 300 pounds, but he has a lot of skills to go along with his size. The rising senior-to-be has a lot of momentum on the recruiting circuit as he is now up to nine offers.
Of those nine offers, one of them comes from a school that he calls, "intriguing" due to the way they develop players and put guys in the NFL after a career finishing near the top of the PAC-10. Mike Riley and the Oregon State program extended an offer to the younger Peat and have his attention as things move forward in the recruiting process.
