Rodney Purvis' prep career compilation

The Wolfpacker first watched Raleigh combo guard Rodney Purvis play at the 2009 Bob Gibbons' Tournament of Champions. Purvis and the CP3 All-Stars squared off with Heart & Hustle on May 24 in the 15-and-under title game.

The eventual NC State signee and McDonald's All-American had a stellar career at Raleigh (N.C.) Upper Room Christian Academy and blossomed into one of the top players in the class of 2012. Purvis ended his career ranked as a five-star signee, the No. 4 shooting guard and the No. 12 overall player in the country. Purvis also earned co-MVP honors at the Jordan Brand Classic in Charlotte last weekend.
