Ga. athlete looks to follow in cousin's footsteps

Like his cousin, 5-star WR, Vidal Hazelton who is now at USC, Tristan Rodneyhas opted to play his senior year of high school elsewhere. Like Hazelton, Rodney has left Moore Catholic High School, Staten Island, N.Y., and has transferred to Alpharetta, Ga., Chattahoochee.


Why the transfer and why Georgia? "My grandparents wanted to move here, so we moved at the end of the school year, but I finished my summer classes in New York and then went to my new school's football camp," shares Rodney. "My uncle (Dexter Hazelton) did the research and this was one of the best schools, so we visited, met the team and I was impressed with their players.
