Class of 2010 Smith turning heads

It may be a little pre-mature to begin profiling players coming from the 2010 class with three full basketball seasons yet to play before college, but one local 2010 prospect is turning heads everywhere he goes.

Standing at a full 6-foot-9 and a filled-in 265 pounds, Josh Smith is a basketball prodigy at the tender age of fifteen. Smith is coming off a spectacular inaugural season at Kentwood High School where he finished with a 14.4 points per game average along with 9 rebounds and 4 blocks per game. Keyed by Smith's outstanding play down the stretch, the Conquerors made the 4A State Tournament finishing a respectable eighth overall.
