Sooners offer Missouri Tight End

After passing on the idea of taking a tight end in the class of 2007, there is no doubt that Oklahoma is making a concerted effort to find a replacement to departing senior Joe Jon Finley. After spending the past few weeks scouring the country it seems that a new name has risen to the forefront.

That name is Spencer Ladner of Kansas City Pembroke Hill. Just this week the Sooners went to have a look at the 6-foot-7, 230-pound pass-catching tight end. It seems all checked out in the Sooners eyeball evaluation.

While Ladner's profile displays a tall order of offers, it seems that list is growing almost daily. In fact along with the Sooners recent offer, Michigan also pledged their interest.

Ladner's current favorites are Oklahoma, Michigan, Cal, Nebraska, Wisconsin and Iowa.
