Seastrunk doubles his list of favorites
With the annual Texas State 7-on-7 Championships being held in College Station, Texas A&M takes advantage of the fact that many of the state's top prospects are in town by holding a one-day camp the Sunday after each year. This weekend was no different as close to 300 players attended.
Perhaps the biggest name, however, will only be a junior in the fall. Likely 2010 five-star running back Lache Seastrunk was in town with his Temple teammates and decided to stick around for the camp. The entire weekend made a very positive impression on the 5-foot-10, 184-pound speedster.
"This was actually my first time that I'd been to A&M," he said. "I toured around the campus and got a chance to see everything. I saw the inside of the facilities to the outside everywhere. It's all real nice. I like that they're strict about their academics, too."
