One offer in, more to come for Ayers
A name to remember in the class of 2010 is Ryan Ayers. The junior athlete can run, cover, make plays, and play physical at defensive back. He camped at three SEC schools, he picked up one offer, and he made a name for himself this summer, so he has really emerged as one to watch.
It has been a busy summer for Tim Glanton's star junior. Ayers has participated in many 7-on-7 events, a combine in North Carolina, and three big camps.
He breaks down the camps in the order they came right here.
Georgia: "It was a lot of fun and a great experience for me. It was my first camp and there was a lot of talent there, so that was good. The talent there really boosted my play, so I liked that challenge."
Florida: "I think I did pretty well at Florida. There was a lot of talent there as well, but I think I went out there made some pretty good plays. It was basically the same as Georgia, a lot of talent and I just went out there to play."
Alabama: "I was sick at the Alabama camp, but I had the opportunity to go there and perform, so I wanted to take advantage of it. I did not feel well, but I still think I did pretty good."
One school really showed Ayers that he was a guy they liked at camp. It happened to be the home state school and he liked the coach he worked under at their camp.
