2010 DL lands first two offers

Defensive lineman always are in high demand so you can bet that class of 2010 standout George Uko (6-4, 280, 5.0) from Chino (Calif.) Don Lugo will be very popular with D-I coaches this coming spring. He already has two impressive offers and a host of other schools already taking notice.

Uko has offers from Oregon and Nebraska, while UCLA, USC, Washington, Washington State, Colorado and Tennessee are already taking notice.

The talented defensive lineman is planning on the NIKE Camp held in Los Angeles, the prestigious USC's Rising Stars Camp in June and possibly UCLA's camp.

Though Uko had a lot of attention from the opposition in terms of double teams and such, he racked up 89 tackles and five sacks. He also played tight end catching two passes for 30 yards and a touchdown. His junior season performance saw him earn first-team all-league and second-team all-CIF.
