Quick hits from Norm Chow

Offensive coordinator Norm Chow put the offense in perfect perspective when he said in the following interview that he looked out at his offense and he only had one senior, Terrence Austin on the field.

It is common knowledge that the defense is ahead of the offense at this stage, but when you add in all the youth and position changing that went on the third week of practice and they have only had 11 sessions then you have to be a least a little pleased with the way the young Bruin offense ran the football at yesterday's scrimmage.

The offense is a work in progress, there's no doubt about that, but it does have one of the finest offensive minds in the history of college football trying to right the ship

Coach Chow gave BruinBlitz.com a few moments after the scrimmage to us his thoughts.

BruinBlitz.com: How did you think your offense performed today?

Chow: "I know better in an hour after I watch the film, but I disappointed in those turnovers at the end, those two picks at the end. I was happy at the way we ran the ball early, which was what we set out to do. We were trying to run the ball and establish something and I thought we did okay with that.
