Sooners offer another California RB

Few positions in Oklahoma's recruiting have more potential to go in a million different directions than at running back. One player who has just recently become a possibility for the Sooners is San Diego Scripps Ranch four-star back Brennan Clay. The 6-foot, 190-pound running back with ability as a receiver, running back, and just about any other skill a back might need picked up his Sooner offer on Sunday.

While some might wonder why Oklahoma would go such a distance to find a running back with it being such a good year for the position in the Big 12 region Clay says he is open to all comers, regardless of distance.

In fact at the time spoke with him Clay, he was only able to speak about a hypothetical Sooner offer as it did not arrive until a bit later in the day.

"Right now I'm honestly open to all schools that are recruiting me. I've said from the get-go that I'd listen to anyone," Clay said. "Right now if Oklahoma offers, they would be among that top group for an official."
