Vols In Mix For Four-Star Forward

With three guards committed in a 2010 class that comes in at a robust No. 4 in's early national rankings, Tennessee enters the summer in strong position recruiting wise. The goal for Bruce Pearl and his staff is clear, to add some frontcourt talent to what looks like a sterling backcourt. The Vols premiere target at the position just might be Tobias Harris from Glen Head, New York.

Harris (6-foot-7, 220 pounds) was among several Vol targets we saw in action this past weekend and the NIKE Memorial Day Classic in Suwanee, Ga. and it's easy to see why Tennessee has made a significant effort to get involved with this multi-skilled forward.

The Vols have some fast company in the pursuit of Harris, but at least have their foot in the door with a field crammed with big names that the prospect hasn't thinned down to a tight list of serious contenders.
