Four-star gets UCLA offer

Four-star defensive tackle George Uko (6-4, 280, 5.0) from Chino (Calif.) Don Lugo has been quietly getting more and more formal scholarship offers and he remains interested in all of the schools to offer him, but seven major universities have taken the lead for now and one might have the slight lead.

UCLA 'might' have that slight lead, as his interest is sky-high right now. What exactly is his interest in the Bruins? And who are the others that stand out?

"Yes, it is high (for UCLA), real high," Uko said. "They are up there in the top seven. I have Oregon in there, Cal, Tennessee, Oklahoma, USC and I think I have Washington in there. I have 11 offers now."

The focus went back to the Bruins and why they standout, but he does have a distinct idea on what he will look for from the school of his choice.

"UCLA, I like the school in general," Uko said. "I like the area, also. Plus, I like coach Todd Howard a lot. I like the D-line coach and he is real cool guy.
