Baxter is an All-American

Another stop, another elite prospect from California joins the roster.

That was the news Wednesday as four-star running back Dillon Baxter was officially named as a member of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. Tuesday's announcements included California's top prospect Ronald Powell and continued Wednesday with the announcement of Seantrel Henderson, Marcus Lattimore, Brandon Willis and Baxter.

Rivals.com has been on hand at all of the announcements, and few of them had as much excitements as Baxter's.

His ceremony featured high-ranking generals, paratroopers arriving at Mission Bay High School and plenty of praise for Baxter, who ranks as California's fifth-best prospect.

Baxter will be one of the showcase stars in the in the 10th anniversary of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Jan. 9 at the Alamodome in San Antonio. The game kicks off at noon CST and will be broadcast nationally by NBC.
