Free Preview: Keystone State LB hears from Bruins

BruinBlitz recently received an email about a linebacker prospect from the Keystone State.
The name itself was enough to investigate. We were able to get a hold of his family and the following is what we were able to find out. He has a fitting name for a linebacker, Nathaniel Breublitz. Breublitz plays his football for York (Pa.) Central York. He stands 6-foot-5, weighs 230 pounds and reportedly runs the 40-yard dash in 4.6. He was a Division I (large schools) third-team all-state selection, 2nd-team all-county and 1st-team all-league as a junior.

According to his father, Breublitz led his team with over 100 tackles, had 15 tackles for loss and had approximately ten forced fumbles. He also plays wide receiver catching 30 passes, turning eight of them into touchdowns.
What makes his stats even more impressive is that he only played in seven games due to breaking his collarbone.
Breublitz is also an outstanding volleyball player who could get recruiting action in that sport.
Known as an outstanding hitter, Breublitz is getting letters from UCLA, West Virginia, Virginia, Pitt, Michigan State, UConn and many other smaller area schools.
Breublitz never came off the field as he plays every down on offense, defense and special teams. He is scheduled to attend football camps at Ohio State and Penn State.
Breublitz’s father mentioned his son loves Virginia, but UCLA is right near the top.
UCLA leaves no stone unturned when looking for recruits. If there is a player with any potential it seems UCLA has made some kind of contact.
The Bruin staff is living up to its reputation as one of the best recruiting staffs in the nation…
