Free Report: Brian Abraham is planning to play

There is a very good chance that incoming freshman Brian Abraham (6-6, 280, 4.9) from Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., is going to see action as a true freshman this fall. This young man took it to heart when new offensive coordinator Tom Cable told his group of incoming freshmen not to take the summer the off because they have some work to do. This young took Cable’s word seriously and he is getting ready to rock and roll.
The Bruins need offensive tackles and that is the position that Abraham is slated to play for the Bruins.

Abraham has been told by the Bruin brass to be ready to play as a true freshman and he has been working his tail for that aim.
“I have been going everyday from my home to work out at 6:00 AM in the morning to get ready,” Abraham said. “This will be my fifth week doing so.”
It looks like Abraham is listening to and applying what Doc Kreis is teaching. Just today Abraham maxed out at 400 pounds on the bench.
This is good news for Bruin fans.
What else has Abraham been doing to get himself ready?
“Other than just working out and getting in shape, I have been getting to know the playbook,” Abraham said. “It’s not exactly easy but I am picking it up. The offense is a lot like the one we ran in high school.”
What were the reasons that Abraham chose UCLA?
“The atmosphere, and the school itself,” Abraham said. “I just wanted to go to UCLA.”
“I had the chance to go to camp and be around the coaches and the team’s atmosphere,” Abraham said. “I knew UCLA was where I wanted to be.”
How is the team’s attitude?
“The attitude of the team is definitely determined,” Abraham said. “Doc has us working intensely and he’s keeping the team up.”
Keep an eye on # 68 this fall. That will be the number of one Brian Abraham.
