Free Report: Bruin target opts for Michigan

Four star wide receiver Adrian Arrington (6-4, 180, 4.5) from Cedar Rapids (Iowa) Washington made his decision and it didn’t go favorably for the Bruins. Arrington decided to throw his hat into the ring with the Michigan Wolverines. Arrington had 57 receptions for 914 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior in 2003. Arrington returned nine kickoffs for 312 yards and scored a touchdown. He also returned 17 punts for 102 yards.
“Adrian made his decision from his heart,” Washington head coach Paul James said. “His gut told him to go Iowa, but he has been a lifelong fan of Michigan.”

“When Adrian was at the Michigan camp as a frosh,” James said. “They told him they want him in maze and blue.”
“You know I think his mother wanted him to go to UCLA,” James said. “Adrian had a three hour conversation with his older brothers.”
“One of them lived in Los Angeles and the other brother lives in Cedar Rapids,” James said. “One hour later UCLA was out and it was down to Iowa and Michigan.”
“Adrian cited the fact that he Michigan does a good job getting their wide receivers and quarterbacks to the NFL.”
