Jeffrey Manning Jr. needed just four days to realize UCLA was the place he wanted to be.

After landing a Bruin offer from Demetrice Martin on Saturday, the three-star defensive back from Bellflower (Calif.) committed to UCLA on Wednesday.

"I would like to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at THE University of California Los Angeles," he wrote in a tweet late Wednesday night.

Martin had the opportunity to see the 6-foot-1, 190-pound DB, who can play either safety or cornerback, at multiple camps the past few weeks. And Manning, like he had done at several events earlier this spring, performed well enough to impress the UCLA DB coach.

Manning now becomes the fourth commitment in UCLA's 2017 class, and the first DB in what projects to be a large group for the Bruins in '17.
