K.J. Carta-Samuels to transfer to UCLA

UCLA's 2018 quarterback competition just got a whole lot more interesting.

Washington graduate transfer K.J. Carta-Samuels intends to enroll at UCLA, his brother announced on Twitter on Monday.

Carta-Samuels, who will have one year to play one at UCLA, redshirted his freshman season and played sparingly in the ensuing three years at Washington.

He's expected to compete with Devon Modster, Matt Lynch and incoming freshman Dorian Thompson-Robinson for the starting job.
