Munde returns from UCLA

Running back/safety Jordan Munde (6-2, 200, 4.5) from Palos Verde (Calif.) has returned from his visit to UCLA. Munde has seen his stock get a boost after a solid senior season. Munde rushed for 2,111 on 305 carries and scored 25 touchdowns. On defense, Munde racked up 77 tackles and one pick as a strong safety.
“My visit to UCLA was a lot of fun,” Munde said. “They told me thay have a couple of guys ahead of me and they won’t know for a couple of weeks if they are going to offer me.”

“I’m very pleased with my trip to UCLA,” Munde said. “I can’t say it enough how much fun it was. UCLA took great care of us.”
“I am heading to Yale this coming weekend (Jan. 16),” Munde said. “I might take a visit to Washington or Columbia.”
“I really don’t know what I’m going to do,” Munde said. “I have an offer from Harvard so it is nice to know that I have great options.”
As a running back Jordon is very tough and durable,” Peninsula head coach Tony Uruburu said in an earlier interview with Rivals.com. “He has great speed for a running back his size, but the best thing about him is his vision. He sees the whole field.”
“On the defensive side of the ball Jordan is a tough physical player,” Uruburu said. “He is very aggressive on the defensive side of the ball and has a great nose for the football.”
“Jordan is definitely a D-I player,” Uruburu said. “Academically however Jordan could play in the Ivy League.”
Munde has already visited both Princeton (Dec. 5) and Harvard (Dec. 12).
