Shell lands at UCLA

UCLA landed a commitment from former Pittsburgh running back Rushel Shell Monday afternoon, a source told BruinSportsReport.com.
Shell, a former four-star RB and No. 55 player in the country, will transfer from Pitt to UCLA and will be eligible to play in 2014.

As a true freshman at Pittsburgh, Shell rushed for 641 yards and four scores on 141 carries. He also hauled in 103 yards through the air.
The 6-foot-1, 215-pound back wanted to leave Pennsylvania for family reasons, a source told BSR, but Pittsburgh blocked his transfer to Arizona and Arizona State, leaving the door open for UCLA.
Shell visited the Bruins over the weekend, and finally committed Monday afternoon.
