UCLA flips Cal commit, lands Atonio Mafi's signature

The early signing day wasn't too kind to UCLA, with (as of 2 p.m. PT) only five commits sending in their NLIs and two four-stars flipping their pledges (Abdul-Malik McClain and Jahan Dotson).

But Chip Kelly and the Bruins got good news around lunchtime Wednesday, adding a 6-foot-3, 360-pound noseguard who was previously committed to Cal.

Atonio Mafi, who took a visit over the weekend and said it would come down to Cal and UCLA on Wednesday, announced at ceremony at his school that he will be a Bruin.
