UCLA has an established recruiting pipeline in the state of Washington and one of last month’s official visitors was among its big targets.

High three-star inside linebacker Brayden Platt was in Westwood at the start of May, along with fellow 2024 linebacker and recent UCLA commit Isaiah Patterson.

“It was definitely fun having someone there,” Platt said.

Patterson and Platt are also teammates at Yelm High School.

On the visit, he also had a chance to connect with Bruins running back Isaiah Carlson, a freshman who enrolled early after signing with UCLA out of Ferndale, Wash. in December.
