A lack of physicality was among the issues UCLA assistant coach Rod Palmer said hurt the Bruins Saturday in a 66-57 loss to California at Pauley Pavilion.

Palmer addressed the media in place of head coach Mick Cronin, who was still addressing the team in the locker room. No players were made available to speak after the loss.
