UCLA defensive coordinator Ikaika Malloe is one of six coaches or players listed on the roster with Hawaii roots.

After Tuesday's practice, Malloe met with the media to look ahead to his return trip home for Saturday's season opener and preview the matchup with the Rainbow Warriors.
