UCLA cornerbacks coach Kodi Whitfield and Frisco (Texas) Memorial cornerback Chase Coleman have been building a relationship since a trip to see him at his high school in late January.

This week, it was the 2025 recruit who went out to see Whitfield and the Bruins on a multi-day trip during the first full week of spring practices.

Coleman, who has been in Westwood since Thursday and plans to stay through Saturday’s practice, picked up an offer Friday evening.
