Five-star announces for UCLA

Two hours into Signing Day, and UCLA is two-for-two.
Less than 60 minutes after landing the nation's No. 1 tight end Chris Clark, the Bruins hauled in Texas' No. 1 player in Soso Jamabo.

"I'll show you my two top schools," Jamabo said on the ESPNU broadcast of his commitment ceremony. "First school is University of California, Los Angeles and my second school is University of California, Los Angeles. That's where I'll be attending school for the next four years."
Jamabo, who's rated as the No. 4 overall running back in the country by Rivals.com, is a big-time haul for the Bruins. The 6-foot-2, 201-pound athlete had offers from nearly every school in the country, including the home-state Longhorns, but he decided to head west Wednesday morning.
"It's obviously one of the top public school institutions in the country," Jamabo said. "They've got something great going. Got the No. 1 quarterback, obviously got the No. 1 tight end this morning and now they've got the No. 1 running back. So they've got something good going."
Jamabo said on air that Josh Rosen, the nation's No. 1 overall quarterback, played a big role in his Bruin pledge. The Plano (Texas) Plano West star said the two talk often, and the prospect of playing in the same backfield with Rosen was too sweet to turn down.
"I've developed a great relationship (with Rosen)," Jamabo said. "I text him on a weekly basis. He's obviously the best quarterback in the country and I've developed a great relationship with some other recruits as well, some who have not signed yet but will sign. And the recruits that are committed and signed right now, I've talked to a lot of them and developed a great relationship. So I'm happy with my decision."
Jamabo's National Letter of Intent rolled in just minutes after he went public with his announcement. Now, the only question left with his recruitment is where he'll play.
Because of his height, his upright running style and his preference to miss defenders rather than run through them, a lot of analysts have Jamabo pegged as a receiver at the next level. Which, Jamabo said, is actually fine with him.
"Wherever I fit best," Jamabo said. "A lot of people think I'll be a receiver and a lot of people think I'll be a running back. It's wherever I fit best at. I feel like I'm a running back, but wherever I'll be most successful at is what I want to be at the next level. If that's being a receiver or a running back, either one is fine."
No matter where Jamabo ends up in UCLA's offense, he's just excited to get it all started.
"Coach (Jim) Mora has got something great going," Jamabo said. "So whatever it is now, it's just the start. It's the start of a great journey I'm about to go on. Fours up, baby."
