Free Report: Brandon Allen Stud LB

There is a linebacker that is reminding many of former Bruin Brian Wilmer. Bruin fans remember the reliable, steady Wilmer who always seemed to be in the right place at the right time.
If Moreno Valley (Calif.) Rancho Verde linebacker Brandon Allen (6-2 ½, 230, 5.1) is anything close to the former Bruin, then he can look forward to having an outstanding college career.

Twenty-one D-I schools came by Rancho Verde so far this May and everyone was impressed by Allen. The only drawback is his overall forty time. He benches 275 pounds, squats 420 and cleans 245.
“Brandon is a great north-south player,” new Rancho Verde head coach Burton Episito said. “He really brings it. Brandon may not have the forty time that looks good in print, but he is sure quick.”
“Brandon makes excellent reads and controls the inside,” Episito said. “His game speed is faster than his overall speed.”
The thing that you have to love about Allen is his work ethic. He works extremely hard.
Allen has a great frame that could add weight without losing quickness. He’s very talented, but raw. “Once Brandon gets some refinement, he will be off the charts.”
Allen was recommended to Pac10Recruiting by an opposing coach. The coach said, “You have to get the lowdown on Brandon Allen from Rancho Verde. He’s the best player in the area.”
