Impact Analysis: Cordell Broadus
Just three years after landing P. Diddy's son, UCLA has added yet another famous rapper's kid to the lineup.

Four-star receiver Cordell Broadus, Snoop Dogg's son, announced on Wednesday that he'll be heading to UCLA this summer.
Here's BSR's breakdown of what Broadus' addition to the 2015 UCLA class means.
THE COMMITMENT
UCLA was Broadus' first offer nearly four years ago. At Jim Mora's first-ever summer camp, Broadus made several nice grabs in front of the Bruins' head man, and before Broadus left campus that day, he picked up the UCLA offer.
Throughout the years, Broadus has flirted with other programs, and insisted he had a top five of Arizona State, USC, LSU, Florida State and UCLA. But the Bruins always appeared to be the leader. Yet late in his senior season, communication between the two stopped, and it looked like Broadus would be ASU-bound.
However, Broadus rekindled his talks with Mora and UCLA just two weeks ago, and after an in-home visit with Mora, Eric Yarber and Snoop Dogg, Broadus was destined for UCLA once again.
WHAT IT MEANS TO THE CLASS
Broadus is the typical high-floor, low-ceiling possession receiver that UCLA tends to attract regularly. He's not a burner by any means, but at 6 feet 3, 186 pounds with very strong hands, he's the ideal move-the-chains wideout that the Bruins have seemingly stockpiled through the years.
There are questions about how badly he wants to be great, with Bishop Gorman actually suspending him for a game this season for not showing up to a practice. And there will always be questions about his temper given the fights he's been in in both the 7-on-7 circuit and when he was at Diamond Bar (Calif.). Yet there's no denying Broadus is the kind of player who will see the field at the next level in some capacity all four years that he's in school.
ANALYST REACTION
"Broadus is a little bit of an enigma. He has all the physical tools to be a real special wide receiver, and at times at Bishop Gorman, he really did stand out. He's a good route runner, he has good speed and athleticism and if you throw the ball up, he's got very long arms and good hands. But he doesn't deliver all the time. That's the thing he needs to work on is his consistency. He needs to come on the field every time wanting to dominate, and he has the physical tools to do it, it's just sort of a mental thing that he needs to go out there and want to control the game." -Adam Gorney, Rivals.com Recruiting Analyst.
IMPACT ON UCLA
Broadus should be able to come into the lineup and compete right away for a spot on the two-deep. He's a polished player, and while he may not have the highest ceiling, he should be ready to play at this level the second he gets on campus in June.
The other underrated impact Broadus will have on UCLA will be off the field. There's a chance being the son of Snoop Dogg could really help the program. Obviously, having Snoop around and donating won't hurt the team or recruiting. Although Snoop Dogg has been known for his Instagram rants, and should one be negative toward UCLA, that's a national headline waiting to happen.
