The interest in JUCO defensive lineman Joshua Shanklin has picked up over the past week.

UCLA is one of 10 programs to offer the 2026 Los Altos Hills (Calif.) Foothill Community College edge defender.

Shanklin told Bruin Blitz on Wednesday evening that his conversation with new UCLA defensive line coach Jethro Franklin went well when he was offered a scholarship last Friday.
