UCLA’s growing buzz since first-time head coach DeShaun Foster took over the program caught the attention of 2025 Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei receiver Marcus Harris.

It was pretty tough to ignore, particularly considering some of the four-star recruit’s high school teammates have been on the Bruins’ radar and attended practices during spring camp.

So, Harris decided to join teammate and three-star defensive tackle Semi Taulanga and lock in the weekend official visit to Westwood. To do so, Harris canceled a trip to Alabama.
