When Devin Hyde was offered by UCLA in February, part of the conversation with Bruins defensive line/outside linebackers coach Tony Washington Jr. centered around what he would like to study when he gets to college.
On an official visit last weekend to Westwood, the three-star Atherton (Calif.) Menlo Atherton edge rusher got a firsthand look at the sports science field through the Bruins’ strength and conditioning staff.
“When their strength and conditioning staff gave a presentation about themselves and what they do, they also showed a bit of the data from the weight room they get about the players’ bodies that they can use to either make their body’s less asynchronous,” Hyde told Bruin Blitz.
